Chilled Cinnamon and Ginger Tea (Soojong Gwa)

This chilled beverage is the perfect finish to a rich meal of Korean barbecue, or any other meal that leaves you feeling so full you couldn’t eat another bite. I don’t know how many times I’ve told myself that I was too full for dessert at a restaurant but have ordered one anyway, just because I craved one or two bites of something sweet. This tendency must be genetic, as my children have a limitless ability to find some extra room for ice cream or brownies no matter how full they claim to be when being asked to finish the main course and their veggies.
