Anyone know what jjajangmyeon is?
Jjajangmyeon or chajangmyun originates from Korea.
It’s almost identical to zhajiangmian from China.
Chunjang (black bean paste) is the essential ingredient for making jjajangmyeon.
The paste is called jjajang after undergoes heat treatment.
In Korea, single people celebrate their singleness
every year on April 14 by eating jjajangmyeon.
The day is known as Black Day;
the informal tradition in response to Valentine’s & White Day celebration in Korea.
